South East Tasmania Forecast - Weather (Synoptic) Situation:
A ridge of high pressure will cross Tasmania tonight, ahead of a cold front that will cross the state on Sunday afternoon and evening. A brief ridge of high pressure will build over Tasmania early on Monday, then a low pressure system over the Bight is expected to pass just southwest of Tasmania Monday night with an associated cold front to then cross the state early on Tuesday. On Wednesday a northwesterly flow is likely to develop over the state.
