South East Tasmania Forecast - Weather (Synoptic) Situation:
An area of high pressure lies to the north of Tasmania, with a trough near the north coast of the state to persist into tomorrow. A high will develop to the southwest of Tasmania tomorrow, extending a ridge over the south of the state during the day. A warm front is expected to move over the north of Tasmania late tomorrow then weaken on Monday, with an associated low pressure system to move just to the northwest of the state. The low will weaken on Tuesday as a high passes to the south of Tasmania. The high will move southeast over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday, directing a northeasterly flow over Tasmania.
