Vernal Equinox begins 23 September at 12:29pm   EST

South East Tasmania Forecast - Weather (Synoptic) Situation:
A very deep and complex low pressure system well south of the Bight is slowly moving east, with several associated cold fronts and troughs to cross Tasmania today and tomorrow morning. A vigorous west to northwesterly stream will persist over most parts of the state until tomorrow morning when the final cold front will see winds shift very cold southwesterly. Winds should then gradually ease tomorrow night and during Saturday as a high moves from the Bight region to western New South Wales. The high should then become slow moving over southern New South wales on Sunday as an associated ridge moves away to the east of the state and another cold front approaches from the west.
