District Forecasts for Tasmania
Issued at 4:26 pm EST on Sunday 27 July 2014
for the period until midnight EST Thursday 31 July 2014.

Weather Situation
A cold front embedded in a northwesterly airflow will dissipate as it slides
past the state overnight. A stronger cold front will approach during Monday
causing the northwesterly flow to strengthen. The front is then expected to
cross the state on Tuesday morning with a vigorous west to northwest flow
persisting through the remainder of the day and into Wednesday as a very deep
and broad area of low pressure passes well south of the Bight. A further front
is then expected to cross Tasmania overnight and into Thursday morning as the
deep low moves slowly eastward across waters well to the southwest.
